Mark Your Calendars! Vokes Annual Budget Meeting April 11, 2010 at 2:00pm

Theatre Needs Vokes Housekeeping Committee needs help! Are you someone who can stop by the theatre for ~30 minutes once every two months and do the following: 1. Empty trash; 2. Check and replenish supplies in bathrooms; 3. Check supply closet and kitchen cabinet; 4. Wipe down bathroom sinks / toilet cleaner in toilets; 5. Swiffer bathroom floors; and or 6. Vacuum carpet as needed? If so, you need to contact Betsy Burr, right away! She's even planning a few fun special events featuring good food and exciting activities, like getting the brown spots off the kitchen ceiling or cleaning the dust out of the corners of the lobby! Seriously, Housekeeping is a HUGE responsibility and many hands make for little work for all involved. Can you help? Ushers for productions are always needed to ensure all performances are covered adequately. Vokes ushers are needed to help our patrons find their seats, to hand out programs, to assist with Dribbley Nibs concessions, etc. If you would like to be added to Vokes' Usher List, please email ushervokes@yahoo.com. Might you be interested in learning something new? Got patience and great people skills? How about Box Office? That's the ticket! Board Updates
The Board of Directors generally meet the first Monday of every month, but things sometimes do get changed or rescheduled. If you'd like to bring something to the Board at an upcoming meeting, please let us know and we'll get it on the Agenda! Meetings currently scheduled are: April 5, May 10, June 7, July 6, August 2, August 30, October 4, November 1 & December 6. Are you familiar with the Vokes Board of Directors?

Member News Kathleen Dalton and Amanda Doyle will be featured in Acme Theater Productions' upcoming Boy Gets Girl, running February 19 - March 13, 2010 at 61 Summer Street in Maynard. Gordon Ellis directs. Gordon Ellis and Bill Stambaugh will be featured in Quannapowitt Players' upcoming The Shape of Things, running March 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, and April 2 and 3, 2010 Kathy and Mike Lague will be featured in Concord Players' The Scarlet Pimpernel, running April 23, 24, 25 (mat) 30, May 1, 2 (mat), 7 and 8, 2010 If your a Vokes Member and would like your upcoming productions/news posted here, email us! |
